Sharyn Nichols is a seasoned real estate professional and longtime Isle of Palms resident, bringing over two decades of experience with Carolina One Real Estate and deep roots in the Charleston community. Originally from Old Saybrook, Connecticut, Sharyn has called Isle of Palms home for more than 31 years, where she and her husband, Chris, raised their two children, Danielle and Kyle.
Sharyn earned her B.A. in Education from the University of South Carolina and spent many years helping others through her work as a Licensed Massage Therapist and later as Program Coordinator for the Massage Therapy program at Trident Technical College. Her background in education and client care naturally translates into her real estate career, where she is known for her thoughtful guidance, attention to detail, and steady, client-first approach.
Since beginning her real estate career in 2002, Sharyn has built a reputation for helping clients successfully navigate the Charleston market, from primary homes to investment properties, new construction, and renovation opportunities. Her long-standing presence in the area, combined with decades of personal investment experience since 1987, gives her clients a valuable perspective on both lifestyle and long-term value.
Today, Sharyn partners with her children, Danielle Nichols and Kyle Nichols, forming a dedicated family team serving the greater Charleston metropolitan area and beyond. Danielle, a longtime Charleston area resident, works closely with clients throughout the Lowcountry, while Kyle expands the team’s reach into North Carolina. Based primarily in Cashiers, North Carolina, Kyle is also a licensed real estate professional, allowing the team to assist clients with opportunities across both coastal and mountain markets.
Together, the Nichols team offers a collaborative approach and extensive local knowledge, working with buyers, sellers, investors, and builders across a wide range of residential real estate needs. Their combined strengths and shared commitment provide clients with a true team advantage.
Deeply connected to the Charleston community, Sharyn offers insight that goes beyond the transaction—helping clients find not just a home, but the right fit for their lifestyle. When she’s not working with clients, she enjoys long walks exploring Charleston’s historic neighborhoods, traveling with her husband, returning to New England, visiting family in North Carolina, and spending time with her granddaughter.
